  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (2)

    • Kevin: (to Robin) Wait, this isn't one of those classic "You still have feelings for your ex-boyfriend, who's oddly also your roommate, which for the record I'm totally cool with, even though everybody tells me I've walked into a bear trap" things, is it?

    • Lily: I'm never gonna get in the mood while your mammoth Eriksen seed is muffin-topping the bodiddly out of me.

    • Music: "Like a Surgeon" by Weird Al Yankovic

    Trivia (3)

    • When Barney and Nora go onto the balcony, it is showed that the wall not exposed to the camera in Barney's apartment has a shelving unit. However, in several previous episodes, Barney's entire wall is a television screen.

    • In the episode 'Twin Beds' (season 5) we learned that Lilly doesn't let Marshall eat on the bed. However in this episode, it shows that Lilly herself enjoys a midnight snack on the bed.

    • Marshall leaving the bar at the end with Lily marks the first time a character has exited the booth towards the camera. In previous episodes, different camera angles have shown that the booth is actually against a wall, which is why the characters have always exited away from the camera.

    Allusions (2)

    • Marshall states "We're gonna need a bigger booth," playing on the famous quote, "I think we're gonna need a bigger boat," from the 1975 film, Jaws.

    • When the gang mocks Ted's story about giving Weird Al Yankovic the idea for "Like a Surgeon", he tells them all, "you can eat it… just eat it," borrowing lyrics from his "Beat It" parody, "Eat It".
