  • Quotes (2)

    • Lucy: I never worked so hard in my life. Ethel: Neither did I. I wonder where all these came from. (referring to the large number of dishes) Lucy: I don't know. I think he takes in dirty dishes from other restaurants.

    • Lucy: I know how to get back at them. Ethel: How? Lucy: I'll call Ricky and tell him the place is being held up and you scream and make noises in the background like struggling. Ethel: Lucy, where do you get these great ideas from? (Lucy shrugs) Well promise me when you die you'll leave your brain to science. Lucy: Okay.

    Notes (1)

    • Adapted from the March 3, 1950 "My Favorite Husband" radio episode, "Women's Rights (pt. 1)".

    Trivia (2)

    • During their phone call to the boys, Lucy and Ethel pretend that they're being robbed. They scream and make all sorts of noises. Why, then, does this not prompt the restaurant manager to see what the commotion is all about?

    • When Lucy and Ethel go to the police station to "claim" Ricky and Fred, the girls identify them by their kiss. Notice that Ethel's lips come nowhere near Fred's, dispite the kissing sound.
