At the start of the third season, his tenant Jackie moves back to the east coast with her son Austin, leaving Marion to serve as a guardian to her outspoken 18-year-old daughter Tiffany. A Fresh Prince-esque show

    By ImSoN2U, Dec 31, 2005

LL Cool J, one of my favorite performers, starred in this hilarious comedy series with famed director/choreographer Debbie Allen. The show was very "Fresh Prince"-esque (both shows were produced by same company). The first couple of seasons dealt with Marion (LL Cool J) reluctantly caring for Jackie's (Allen) two children: Tiffany (Maia Campbell) and Austin (Jeffrey Woods). As the show progressed (and moved to another network), Allen and Woods were dropped from the cast and replaced by Kim Wayans (a recurring character from the previous season) and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" alum Alfonso Ribeiro playing a character very similar to his long-popular Carlton Banks role on "Fresh Prince". Overall, the show was very entertaining to watch as it was a perfect fit with "The Fresh Prince" on NBC and "Moesha" on UPN.moreless

This was average show. It didn't always have me laughing but it was something to watch.

I think the show could have been a little bit better. It didn't always have me laughing but was something to watch. Some things I like were Kim Wayans. She really played her part because she had me annoyed. Also Maxwell's parents were Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian from Fresh Prince of Belair. I thought that was cool because around that time the the show just ended. I think the show good and she be but back for re-runs.

A truly funny show which everyone should give a try....

    By nellyg619, Jul 19, 2005

This is a comedy which is actually funny ( shows which rarely do these days).

Marion Hill(who is played by LL Cool J) is a footballer was injured on the pitch. Later does he know that he will never play football again. In the first few seasons he rents out his house to a family of three: A mum (Jackie), a son (Arnold) and a daughter Tiffany. Jackie has a promotion and has to move with Arnold to a new place. She leaves Tiffany behind so she can carry on with her studies. So there out. Marion finds out that he will never play football agzain, after some pondering he opens up a gym with Tonio Harris ( played by Kim Wayans) and Dr. Maxwell ( played by Alfonsio Riberio who is Carlton in 'The Fresh Pronce Of Bel Air'.) And that's basically the main story, Marion's life and what he does to accomplish his objectives.

This is a funny show which everyone should watch. Special mention must go to LL Cool J who acts brilliantly
