  • Gadget is sent to the wealthy Middle-Eastern kingdom of Yetzanistan to safeguard a sacred sword - whoever possesses it shall become King. A young sultan is set to become the next sovereign ruler; however he is tricked by the duplicitous MAD agent Fast Abdul, which results in the sword being pilfered from the confines of the royal vault just two days prior to his coronation. Abdul touts himself as being the fastest in all of Yetzanistan, but is he really quick enough to evade the utter buffoonery of our bionic hero???moreless

    Trivia (3)

    • When Penny meets the Prince for the first time, he accuses her of interrupting his favorite tv program. Though we are unable to see what show it is, we can here Inspector Gadget music playing from it.

    • The purpose of Fast Abdul to get his "rain box" into the royal vault was for his hidden monkey to steal the royal sword, because it would be impossible for him to sneak in and steal it himself. However, it is never explained how he get's his box back out of the vault.

    • Brain's Disguises: bedouin and a harem girl

    • Arabian Nights:
      The title for the episode comes from a collection of tales from the Arab region called One Thousand and One Nights. This was later changed into English as simply, Arabian Nights.

    • Penny's Choice of Clothing:
      While in Yetzanistan, Penny wears a hijab. It is a traditional covering for women in certain Muslim and Arab nations.
