    Allusions (1)

    • This episodes title, The Day the Music Died is in reference to February 3, 1959, where three prominent musicians; Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J.P. "Big Bopper" Richardson, were killed in a plane crash near Fargo, North Dakota. This phrase is part of the lyrics of Don McLean's song "American Pie."
