  • Quotes (3)

    • Judith: I'm not taking the heat for this one. Joan: Yeah, she's a real angel… of darkness.

    • Luke: I'll sneak out the window.

    • Grace: You'd rather talk then make out? I think you're the one who needs help, Girardi.

    Notes (6)

    • This episode once again contains dialogue at the end that is only available on the close-captioning. As the refrain of Fiona Apple's "Across the Universe" plays, the dialogue of Adam's Mom on the video he's playing continues on the close-captioning right about up until fade to black.

    • As Adam watches the video of himself and his mother at the end of the episode, Fiona Apple's remake of "Across the Universe" plays in the background. This song was last heard on the show when Helen Girardi read Mrs. Rove's letter to Adam in the first season episode "Jump".

    • Evan Handler, Constance Zimmer, and Annie Potts are billed as Special Guest Stars.

    • Music featured in this episode included:
      "Rock" by Lexicon
"More Than Enough" by The Clean Prophets
"So Long Marie" by Sillan & Young
      "Shine" by David Loring
      "Sometimes" by DeeDee O'Malley
"Show Me The Way" by Peter Frampton
      "Altamont Raven" by Tricky Woo
      "Half As Good" by Zoe
"Waiting For Beautiful" by Karla Anderson
"Across The Universe" by Fiona Apple

    • New God: Pretentious Filmmaker God.

    Trivia (2)

    • In the scene when Joan offers to watch Adam's video with him, the videotapes in Adam's box change position between shots.

    • At the beginning of the scene when Joan is cleaning the graffiti she is using a cleaner in a gray spray bottle, but then after Garbage Man God leaves and Judith comes into the scene she is using what looks like regular orange kitchen cleaner.

    Allusions (1)

    • Helen: Ugh, now I know how Sean Penn feels. Referring to a series of violent outbursts from actor Sean Penn towards the paparazzi during his relationship with Madonna, which culminated in Penn attacking two paparazzi with a rock, being charged with assault and battery and receiving a fine and a suspended sentence.
