    • Ginger: So let me get this straight, Johnny -- rules have got to make sense. Johnny: That's exactly right.

    • Johnny: (singing) They let you know that sometimes you should act a certain way / But rules should not be made up willy-nilly. Lily: Willy-Nilly? Who's Willy-Nilly?

    • Sprites: (singing to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star") Johnny, help, it doesn't work / Rules have made it so much worse.

    • Lily: No one is helping and I'm getting very upset. The water is not clean, the rocks need to be scrubbed and I don't know what to do! Basil: Lily, Lily, Lily, breathe. Lily: I don't have time to breathe. I'm supposed to keep singing and there is something very wrong with these rules!

    • Basil: Okay. So far we have... 743 rules. Ginger: Is that enough? Basil: I have no idea!
