  • show Description
  • Kidsongs started out as a series of home videos before going out on Disney Channel for 26 weeks in 1992. However, it is their run on American Public Television that will be documented here. In 1994, PBS brought back the Kidsongs Series with a show called The Kidsongs Television Show. The show featured a whole new cast and focused on kids running a television studio. The Kidsongs music videos were among the videos the Kidsongs TV kids put into their show. Kidsongs TV lasted for 3 seasons & their videos are still available in stores and online.moreless

    • SCARECROW: Okay, H.B. It's up to you to get out there and save the team. Remember, you can do wonderful things with your life if you really believe in your dreams. Go get 'em kid. All right? MRS. MACDONALD: Honey, I think the kids are looking a little tired, don't you? MR. MACDONALD: Yeah, they sure are. I better get the campfire started. MRS. MACDONALD: That's a good idea.

    • Alexandra: Good morning. And welcome to the Kidsongs TV Show. Christian: The one and only show made by kids. Alexandra: For kids. Christian: And starring kids. (Billy Biggle appears) Billy: And Biggles.

    • Mr.Forbes: And everything seemed to run so smoothly. Control Room: Smoothly!

    • Christopher: This song's fun at parties, especially Birthday parties.

    • Kyle: (about Mel) You see, Mel was the famous bass singer of all through the 50s and 60s. Ruby: Well, I think he'll be very flatter if you ask him to teach to sing the bass part. Kyle: But what if he says no? Billy: You just go ask him. We'll be right here rooting for you.

    • Scarecrow: Okay, H.B. It's up to you to get out there and save the team. Remember, you can do wonderful things in your life if you really believe in your dreams. Go get them kid. All right?

    Notes (32)

    • The instrumental version of "Skip to My Lou" is played during the end credits.

    • The associate producer was Kim Faber

    • This episode doesn't contain a fabulous facts section.

    • Cast Lineup Season 1: Control Room: Kevin, Megan, and Hassan. Hosts: Alexandra & Christian Camera/Floor: Cassandra & Mark Writer: Chris Assistant Writer:Katie Question Time Host:Janet Producer: Melanie

    • Even though this is the first episode ever, it is never mentioned that this is a pilot.

    • Kidsongs always starts out with "Good Morning & Welcome to the Kidsongs TV Show. The one & only show made by kids, for kids, and starring kids." You can tell this is the first episode because Kevin, the director, mentions what they'll do for the very first time.

    • Animated spots are used on Billy's body in the shots during his tummy ache.

    • Kevin, the director, talks about wanting to be the Question Time host so he could meet cool guests like Jimmy Vasser. This is probably foreshadowing episode 6, in which the cast switches positions for a day.
