  • Episode Description
  • The truth of Cotton's past comes out and it turns out he slept with the "widow" and bore a child, unbeknownst to him. The son disowns the Hill name, which sends Cotton on a rampage, and he decides he is going to spit on the face of the Japanese Emperor Akihito at a ceremony honoring WWII veterans. Hank convinces Junichiro to try to stop their father, and is glad to be working with his brother. While on the search they come to realize how much they have in common, and Junichiro, decides being a Hill is not all that bad. Bobby develops a relationship with a girl when they start dancing at a local arcade. Luanne (who still can't figure out which dog is Ladybird) sees people in the Hills house, and, not knowing it is Dale and Bill, calls the cops.moreless

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (3)

    • (Cotton gets misty when a news crew offers to film not only Cotton's reunion with his long lost family but an honorable meeting between Cotton and the Emperor of Japan himself) Cotton:I don't usually cry unless someone's pullin' out ma' fingernails like you fine folks did to me many years ago.

    • Junichiro: With all respect and honor, I would not be saddened if both you and your father went to hell.

    • Luanne:(to the dogs) I'm gonna tell Uncle Hank I learned how to clone at Junior College. You two better back me up.

    Notes (3)

    • The first song that Bobby and the Japanese girl dance to is "That's The Way (I Like It)" by K.C. and the Sunshine Band. The second song that they dance to is "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. The song the girl and purple haired boy dance to is "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot. The final song that Bobby and the Japanese girl dance to is "Got To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn.

    • This is the first season where one of the main characters does not appear in at least half of the episodes. Luanne appeared in just 7 of the 22 episodes this season.

    • This is the final season to be released on DVD. Fox has refused to put anymore out because of poor DVD sales. There have been many complaints, but not enough for Fox to change their mind. There seems to be no plan to ever release the remaining seasons on DVD.

    Trivia (1)

    • Tagline: "Texas in the hizouse!" -Bobby

    Allusions (1)

    • The thing that Bobby and the girl dance with is clearly a Dance Dance Revolution spoof, which is huge in Japan.
