  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (8)

    • Dale: In about two minutes, a CIA swat team is gonna swarm this place like flies on Bill.

    • Dale: The falcon has the egg. By "egg" I mean briefcase. Oh, and this is Dale, from the ad.

    • Hank: Mr. Big is pleased.

    • Hank: Don't worry, Dale. I'm sure next week one of those guys will shoot somebody's toe off, and this will all be forgotten. Dale: Oh, God, if that happened I'd kiss his bloody nub.

    • Dale: The Generalissimo was guarded better than a Mafia Don's virgin daughter. We needed the element of surprise, so me and my team showed up disguised as flower delivery men. He answers the door thinking someone sent him a bouquet of roses. But instead, he's pushing up daisies! Sh-sh-sh-sha!

    Notes (1)

    • The song Dale is listening to in his van when pulling up to the Gun Club at the very beginning of the episode, is "I Fought the Law" by The Crickets.

    Trivia (4)

    • Tagline: "Mr. Big is pleased." -Hank

    • Luanne does not appear in this episode.

    • Not really a goof, as this is a cartoon, but despite being told he can't use chemicals again in "The Exterminator", Dale has a poison spray in this episode, and for the remainder of the series, uses chemicals.

    • Hank says he is going to hit redial on the phone, but he calls Dale. Dale wasn't the one calling Boomhauer, so he didn't hit redial.

    Allusions (2)

    • Dale's rescue plan involving the swarm of flower delivery men carrying long boxes relies on the obvious allusion to guns being concealed in florists' boxes in old gangster movies and such films as Dog Day Afternoon and Terminator 2 Judgment Day. The allusion is so powerful, Dale's gun club buddies surrender even though the florist trucks are just plain florist trucks.

    • The title is an allusion to Soldier of Fortune, a well-known military magazine.
