  • Episode Description
  • Ater pigging out on chips meant for Kirby while watching Channel DDD reruns, King Dedede blows up to such a size that he can't even move. After a visit to the doctor for the king, Tiff decides to investigate the chips and learns they have no manufacturer's ID, so they MUST have been made by NME. Unfortunately, Kirby gets into the chips as well, and soon ends up as fat as Dedede. With both of them too bloated to move, the NME Salesguy sends in a tough, hyperactive fitness trainer called Max Flexer... who turns the throne room into a fast-paced aerobic disco show! Max Flexer has to whip them into shape, but some of his methods are far more rigorous (and dangerous) than any normal exercise regimen.moreless

    • (A lot of Waddle Dees carry a super-sized King Dedede past) Cappy Parent: See what happens when you eat too much junk food?

    Notes (4)

    • Villain: Max Flexer. Toned, tanned, and sporting a pink afro and dark shades, Max Flexer, fitness trainer will whip you into shape. He's sent by Nightmare under the guise of a wacky fitness trainer with an agitating voice amplified by a headset, in order to trim down King Dedede and Kirby's waistlines. However, his exercise regimens are deadly, right down to steamrollers and treadmills with spikes at the end. The massive mace used as his "cruncher" reveals it all, he's actually there to keep everyone dancing while he works Kirby out of existence!

    • When Meta-Knight said to Tiff and Tuff he's fallen and can't get up, that was Steve Urkle line in Family Matters.

    • Mike (Microphone) Kirby returns.

    • Max Flexer (and his routine) seems to be based on Richard Simmons, right down to the dancing and rhyming (and probably also the voice).

    Trivia (4)

    • In the original version when Max Flexer crushes Kirby with the iron ball, there's a breif scene showing kirby holding his breath. In the dub, this scene is removed so it goes straight to Kirby spitting out the chips.

    • The sequence in Max Flexer's song where he squeezes Kirby and King Dedede through tubes was cut from the dub.

    • During the Max Flexer song, everyone are forced work out except for Meta-Knight

    • When Kirby transforms into Mike Kirby, the second form of Mike Kirby is shown instead of the first form.
