  • Quotes (7)

    • KITT: Michael, that can't be KARR! We destroyed KARR two years ago! Michael: Then who or what is that? KITT: But I saw him explode! You saw him explode! Michael: I know!

    • John: Get lost! KARR: I'm a computer, I can't get lost.

    • John: (driving KARR) I'll bet George Lucas drives one of these things.

    • KARR: Think of me as the genie in the magic lamp. John: What am I supposed to be, Alladin? KARR: If you choose.

    • Michael: (to Brandy) Your boyfriend's in way over his head right now. As a matter of fact, he's drowning, and you're just about the only person who can save him right now.

    Notes (2)

    • The German episode title is "Der schwarze Teufel taucht wieder auf", meaning "The Black Devil Returns". The French episode title is "Le Retour de K.A.R.R.", meaning "K.A.R.R. Returns".

    • Music: The Pointer Sisters' "Jump (For My Love)"; Laura Branigan's "Self Control"; Bananarama's "Cruel Summer". All are cover versions.

    Trivia (4)

    • When Mandy gets to KARR at the pier, a cameraman is reflected by the car.

    • When John asks KARR to play music, KARR plays a tape of a cover version of The Pointer Sisters' "Jump (For My Love)," a song that was released in 1984, even though he'd been 'destroyed' in 1982.

    • With his return, KARR curiously has a number of minor changes from his first appearance, including: The scanner at the front is now yellow/green (instead of red) His scanner now makes a sound identical to KITT's (instead of the deep 'drone' noise of the original) His license plate now reads 'KARR' (instead of the original 'KNIGHT') The sound of his engine now more resembles KITT's (all-be-it with some additional effects), instead of the fierce "roaring" engine sound previously. The casing around his voice modulator is slightly different

    • Though KARR was never to return, the episode ended with a shot of KARR's still blinking CPU, a implication that a rebuild was a possibility.
