  • show Description
  • Welcome to the Ladies Man guide at "As a husband/father/son/ex-husband/son-in-law, Jimmy Stiles enjoys few comforts of home — such as an empty bathroom — as he shares his life with a house full of women. "Prone to making tactless conversation, Jimmy unintentionally insults his wife, Donna, on a regular basis. Though he desperately needs someone to defend him, he is not going to find it in this house. Donna, however, can always rely on support from Jimmy's ever-present mom, Mitzi, who can recount numerous embarrassing escapades from Jimmy's childhood, and from her own mother, Peaches, who continually points out Jimmy's inadequacies. But Jimmy keeps trying. "As a high-end custom furniture maker, Jimmy is trying to raise Wendy, his smart, yet manipulative, 10-year-old daughter he has with Donna, and his darkness-obsessed teen daughter Bonnie, whom he had with his first wife, a tart-tongued cocktail waitress, Claire. Constantly trying to prove to all these women that he does indeed love them — despite his penchant for stupid, hormonally-inspired remarks — things only become more complicated when Bonnie says she wants to live with him and Donna. Jimmy finally gets a break with the birth of his newest baby — it's a boy! Jimmy's joy over having an ally in the house is euphoric... even if father and son are still physically outnumbered — and more importantly, psychologically outwitted."moreless

    • Jimmy: Where you guys going? Nurse: We're going to get him circumcised. Jimmy: And so it begins.

    • Jimmy: I don't know why I'm crying. Donna: I do. Because you're not alone anymore.

    • Jimmy: Read it and weep, Dr. Smarty-pants, 'cause unless you ordered this baby with a side of pickle, that is a boy.

    • Donna: Jimmy Stiles, if you do not make love to me right now, I will know that I repulse you. If you are not fully excited and making love to me in thirty seconds, I will know that this marriage is over. Jimmy: Well, no pressure here.

    • Donna: If I am so beautiful, how come we haven't had sex in a month? Jimmy: I don't know, maybe I misinterpreted you screaming "Don't touch me," and then vomiting.

    • Donna: You said I looked like a cow. Jimmy: No I didn't, YOU said you looked like a cow. Donna: And you agreed with me! Jimmy: Well, normally you like it when I agree with you. In fact, it's damn near required.

    • Jimmy: I do not hate women! But you know, right now I'm this close to having the guts to stroke a man like a pussycat.

    • Claire: I make a living from tips. And I'm rude.
