  • Episode Description
  • The murder of a marine, along with the removal of her baby from her womb, puts the unit at odds with the Navy JAG Corps when it fights to keep the case, since her rape occurred in-theatre by a superior officer. Skeptical of JAG's handling of the case to date, Fin and Benson press forward with their investigation, even as Olivia's flashbacks of her own assault impede it and put a suspect at risk.moreless

Olivia Benson: That's easy to say, and hard to do.
Master Sgt. Dominic Pruitt: It takes practice. You'll get there.

    Trivia (6)

    • Fin is a former Army Ranger.

    • Goof: In an Article 32 Hearing for a Marine personnel, the presiding judge should be a Navy or Marine senior or flag officer, but the judge is wearing an Army uniform. Even though this situation could be allowed in a military court during a deployment, it's extremely rare if the procedure is taking place in U.S. territory.

    • Goof: When the ADA and the JAG officer leave his office, you can see other military personnel walking behind them. The men walking behind them are in Summer white uniforms and the JAG officer is in Winter blues. Every sailor in the same region wears the same uniform except for the khaki uniform, which can be worn for certain occupations regardless of the season.

    • Goof: When the ADA is talking to the JAG officer as he is leaving the building, he is not wearing a cover (hat). Anytime you are outside in a uniform, you are to wear a cover.

    • Goof: Det. Fin Tutuola states that a Marine Cobra attack helicopter has "two pilots and a door gunner." A picture of a door gunner is then flashed on the computer screen. This is incorrect. A Cobra only has a two-person crew and does not have a door gunner or a door for that matter. A former Army Ranger would have known this.
