  • Quotes (14)

    • Grand Chancellor: (to Kell) You displayed tremendous courage, while facing perhaps the greatest trial of all: putting up with young Zyx. You are a better man then all of us!

    • Mordru: You are beaten, Legionnaires. Now watch as I gain the power to move worlds, blacken suns, annihilate galaxies,... you get the general idea.

    • Superman: We'll split up. I'll lead the team against Mordru and try to delay him, while one of you helps Zyx. Volunteers? Star Boy: I'm no babysitter. Bouncing Boy: I'd rather fight the evil wizard. Phantom Girl: Uh, I've been to the city before, so... Timber Wolf: I say give it to the new guy. Kell-El: What? Hey! Superman: Done. Kell-El: I hate you guys.

    • High Chancellor: You were corrupted by dark magic, and it infects you still. Mordru: (laughs) Indeed it does.

    • Zyx: What's up with the twin, Supes? One of you wasn't bad enough?

    Trivia (2)

    • The High Chancellor initially refers to Mordru as "Mordu."

    • When the Legion and Zyx first land on Zarok, Zyx seems to fly down by himself, however, later Kell-El has to carry him when they're flying.

    Allusions (1)

    • Mordru: In the name of Yog-Sothoth, I shall have my revenge. Yog-Sothoth is one of the Outer Gods, the Lurker at the Threshold, created by H.P. Lovecraft as part of the Cthulhu mythos. He was first mentioned in The Case of Charles Dexter Ward (1941). Its name is referenced in many horror stories (including those of Stephen King) and heavy metal bands' songs.
