Another show that needs a DVD release.

A great show, was probably what lauched all the women networks as it was aimed towards women but in the end drew in many fans of all sexes and races. The show had the first Down Syndrome actor playing the role of Corky and he did an amazing job. I really think a show like this would be better if done now though. Cause the envelope back then was very tiny and didn't have much room for pushing. Corky isn't an outcast at all which let's be honest in today's schools that wouldn't be the case. You'd think you would have heard more mean comments towards Corky in the series. I think it would have really shown the hard times people suffering from Down Syndrome have to take on and over come.moreless
