  • Fan Reviews (1)
  • I know I said I wouldn't write anymore reviews when I found out that ABC planned to cancel this show at the end of the season, but this episode was almost perfect.

    • Jimmy McManus: Dublin? Your accent. Sam: Yeah, Sandycove.

    • Chris: (to Sam) You had me really thinking you were Irish. You're good at accents.

    • Ray: (after having to chase one of the bad guys) That's for making me remember I had asthma when I was a kid!

    • Ray: (talking about Jimmy McManus) He has marshmallow guns, knives and coffins in his bowl of Lucky Charms every morning. He's magically malicious!

    • Colleen: Glad you're here. I was afraid we'd run out of drunken Irish hoodlums today

    • This episode marks the first time Jason O'Mara and his wife Paige Turco have worked together since they both starred on The Agency which ended in 2003. In an interview with tvguide.com Josh Appelbaum said that it was always in the plan to have Paige guest star in an episode during season 1.

    Allusions (3)

    • Ray: You want hell? I'll give you hell. Hell is sittin' three hours on a stakeout with a jibber-jawin' jackass who's come down with a bad case of "What's it all about, Alfie?" "What's it all about, Alfie?" is a song by Cher from the 1966 film titled Alfie starring Michael Caine and Shelley Winters.

    • Young Sammy: Was your father bad, Luke? Sam: My father... went over to the dark side. This is an allusion to the movie Star Wars. Luke Skywalker's father was Darth Vader, who fell to the dark side of the mystical Force after Palpatine manipulated him into betraying the Jedi and destroying the Galactic Republic.

    • Sam's undercover name is Sam Bono. This is an allusion to the lead singer of the Irish band U2. Bono like Jason O'Mara grew up in Dublin.
