    • "This episode is dedicated to Samantha Smith and her dreams of peace in the world." This dedication is run on a separate card at the end of each episode of the series in memory of 13-year-old co-star Samantha Smith, who was killed in a plane crash along with her father on the evening of August 25, 1985. She appeared in five of the series eight episodes, but was included in the opening titles for all eight shows.
