  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • (In reference to the spiraling V.D. rate) Charles: These men have got to learn not to practice license without a medicine.

    • B.J.: It's got everything--trees, bushes, green...ground? Klinger: Pretty good, huh? I painted that. It'll be fine as long as nobody paints any weeds.

    • Hawkeye: War may be ugly, but it shouldn't be an eyesore.

    • Hawkeye: If you end this fiasco right now, I pledge to purchase all your daughter's inimitable records. Don't bother to deliver them. I'll pick them up on my way home.

    Notes (1)

    • This was the first episode filmed for the tenth season to be broadcast. The previous episodes shown this season were produced for the ninth season.

    Trivia (2)

    • The miniature park is surrounded by white-painted rocks. Several seasons ago, Potter had forbidden any rock-painting, because the white stones could give their position away to the enemy at night. (Frank suggested painting only the top half of the rocks and then turning them over at night.)

    • Hawkeye finishes his letter, and asks Nurse Kellye to send it, but later on he is still finishing writing it.

    Allusions (2)

    • The episode title is a pun of, "Give 'em Hell, Harry!", a biographical play about President Harry Truman, written by Samuel Gallu. The line became a slogan for Truman supporters.

    • Kim Han: You need any more help, just whistle. You know how to do that?
Margaret: Sure. You just put your lips together and blow.
The young Korean and Margaret quote Lauren Bacall's lines from To Have And Have Not (1944).
