    • The Caesars shopping complex cost over 100 million dollars to build. It draws about 30,000 visitors a day.

    • When the MGM Grand opened in 1993, it took 39 armored cars two nights to move the $3.5 million in quarters necessary to run the casino.

    • The 120 foot high sign in front of Circus Circus, featuring Lucky the Clown, was built in 1968 for a cost of one million dollars. The hotel itself cost just 15 million.

    • The gambling and tourism industry in Las Vegas generates more revenue annually than any other. Only the U.S. Mint generates money faster.
