  • Quotes (4)

    • Frank: Hey, Murph. Murphy: Oh hey, Frank. Frank: I'm having lunch alone today. Murphy: Good for you. I have a yeast infection. Frank: You may want to pull back a little on the intimacy. Murphy: Sorry, still kind of new to me.

    • Dr. Larkin: Alright what's this about? Murphy: I want to know where the hell you get off telling, Frank I'm the cause of all his problems. Dr. Larkin: Is that what you told her, Frank? Frank: No. Murphy: What? Frank: Okay, okay. I may have allowed her to assume certain things. Dr Larkin: Frank, why did you lie to Murphy? Frank: I don't know. Murphy: I'm not all that knowledgeable about therapy but it's because he's a ROTTON STINKING LIAR! Frank: Oh, that's nice, my best friend behind me every step of the way. Murphy: You know, Frank, that is your problem you always want someone behind you every step of the way. Should I ask her out? Should I get the chicken or the fish? Do you like these socks? Frank: Oh like you're perfect. Like you're some kind of Pope or head nun or something perfect an orange or something. Murphy: An orange!

    • Frank: It was Murphy's fault. Murphy: What? Frank: She said I would never survive out of therapy. She tore down my confidence, Miles. She said I was a spineless worm incapable of standing on my own two feet. Murphy: What are you saying? I just said I wasn't used to you being out of therapy, that's it. Frank: Same thing. Not used to me being out of therapy, spineless worm, same thing. Murphy: You know what, Frank, you don't belong in therapy. You belong in a room with some non-toxic paste and a pogo-stick.

    • Frank: I can do this. I'm okay. Dr. Larkin: Yes, you are. And you're going to discover some very important things about yourself. Frank: Right. And some of those things might be? Dr. Larkin: No, I said you'll discover them. Frank: I'll discover them. But they begin with the letter?

    Notes (1)

    • Sixteen years after the cancellation of The Bob Newhart Show, Dr. Bob Hartley and Carol Kester Bondurant re-appear to prove that you can't put good characters down.
