  • Notes (5)

    • Again, this is another occasion for headscribe George Tibbles to make use of the Douglases' new Hollywood environment.

    • This is the second time this season that Ernie is invited to a film or television studio (and as a result, the second time the series uses a production facility on camera as part of the narrative). The previous occurrence was during 'Ernie and Zsa Zsa.'

    • Toby Chambers is the name of the Sheriff on the TV show "Traildusters".

    • Poor Chip! Chickenpox last week and now Tonsilitis?

    • Staff Director Fred De Cordova (1910-2001) makes a token appearance on the series as, what else, a director at the movie studio that Ernie and Charley are guests at.

    Trivia (1)

    • Each of the scenes in Ernie's movie at the film studio indicate places where the rest of the Douglas family are traveling and visiting: 1) Steve in Amsterdam; 2) Robbie in Okinawa; and 3) Chip in Mexico.
