    Part 3 of the Investigation

    By TanorFaux, Jan 01, 2013

As it seems, Gennou tricked everyone into leaving themselves defenseless. Most of the ninja are waiting for a battle that does not seem to happen at all. Leaving the village without their arms. The ANBU are tricked easily. Now it's down to the 11 oh I mean 12! Sorry Akamaru! D:

I loved this episode as it really starts to open up the mystery and puzzle that this old man had set up. They uncovered the truth of the what the blueprints were used for. A plan to destroy the leaf under their noses, without warning, except a soundless strike from the unaware academy students who're just playing and training! Now that's one heck of a bomb plan! This episode as well as this Arc continues to amuse me and I love it!

This Arc is worth watching if you like detective-type stuff. Like a murder mystery or a bomb threat, or something that tickles your brain as you watch and try to follow what's going on and solve the mystery on your own. As that's what these kinds of books and shows try to do with its viewers/readers.moreless

Gennou's secret traps sure are a headache!

    By 28693, May 19, 2009

Just when you thought that things wouldn't get any more complicated. While searching through the plans of the village and figuring out which ones are missing, Naruto and the gang see the missing plans falling from the sky. Naruto and his shadow clones manage to capture all of the plans while Tsunade discovers that the waterfall ninja's invasion was just a ruse to leave the The Leaf Village completely defenceless. Shikamaru outlines his strategy and views and decides to inspect the Academy building. There they discover a mysterious post that was actually booby-trapped. Using the byakugan, Hinata and Neji discover that the the whole village is booby-trapped with paper bombs! Has Naruto uncovered whole of Gennou's plan or there is more to it than meets the eye?moreless

    A trap is set.

    By stitch069917, Oct 02, 2008

A giant bird appears over the village and drops all of the stolen blueprints. Naruto and Choji gather all the blueprints and return them to the construction foreman. They discover that the blueprints for the Academy are still missing. Just then everyone learns that the body that was brought in by the ANBU Black Ops is not the body of Gennou. It seems that things are starting to get complicated. The ninja at the border also report that the Waterfall ninja have gone back to their village and that the training exercise was just a training exercise after all. What does Gennou have in the works for the village...moreless

This still doesn't make any sense...

    By DarkNinja1994, Sep 23, 2008

This still doesn't make any sense, but I'm starting to put all the pieces together... I know that the Gennou that Naruto knew and the Gennou that commited suicide were not the same guy. And by the end of this episode, I know that someone wants to blow up the Academy, and will go to any length to do it. There are about a zillion paper bombs located all over Konoha that all lead to one little place inside the Academy. I agree with Naruto, those kids shouldn't be training, they should be reading manga! But that's just me. :P I would be a real sucky ninja.moreless

    Yet another amazing filler

    By thinair13, Sep 03, 2007

This was awesome! Konoha turns out to be a giant bomb with many triggers, (one of them including the bull's eye at the dojo) Gennou is truly an amazing trapper but thatnks to the Byakugan the traps were revealed so basically wherever they step there is a bomb underneath them lol... Imagine Rock lee just walkin along or something and he steps down and his foot explodes XD lol, but i hope that doesn't happen to Lee he's awesome.

basically it's another filler that is actually good for a change actually it's better than some episodes XD bye everyone see ya next reveiw!moreless

    really funny episode.

    By DojoKanooJoto, Jan 16, 2007

This was a really cool and funny episode. Apparently there were a bunch of exploding tags all over Konoha. My favorite part was when Naruto acciedently asks hinata on a date when he really asking if she could use her byakugan. Hinata thinks Naruto is asking her out she says that she can't Naruto then looks and sees Neji and says "Okay I'll just ask Neji." So Hinata and Sakura think that Naruto is gay. I know this episode is a filler. I don't believe in the fillers don't exsist because they aren't in the manga. I don't think that is right.

    Peace out.moreless

Our heros learn that Gennou, the guy who stole the building plans of the hidden leaf village fooled the ANBU squad into believe that he committed suicide. In fact he escaped their graps and planed explosives all over the city.

    By ronnealjr, Sep 14, 2006

This was a fairly enjoyable episode. Finally the action is beginning again, with Gennou and his yet unknown plans that concern Konoha being uncovered. We also find out that Gennou had an accomplice in his plans because him alone could not outline the execution of such a plan. Konoha is on high alert right now due to the risk that it may be blown up! I noticed that the filler episodes are becoming more exciting, maybe this is actually the end of the filler! Or maybe they are jerking our chains. Good episode though. I really enjoyed watching it.moreless

Gennou, the spy that infiltrated Konoha and stole the building plans of the city, made ANBU belive that he commited suicide, thus leading them off of his tracks. Still his plan si more complicated and it consists of setting explosive notes all over the city.

    By phantom654, Sep 10, 2006

This episode is great. Finally the action is beginning again, with Gennou and his yet unknown plans that concern Konoha, the unknown acomplice of Gennou, the fear that Konoha will be attacked by by the Hidden Water Village, the close situation of Konoha being blown up into's actually worth watching from here on because it looks like the fillers have reached the end and we don't have to worry about any more of them being aired ever again because the manga already advanced a lot in this time and i think they now have a lot of chatching up to do.moreless

Now this is more like it.

    By Duo_forever, Sep 02, 2006

As blueprints fall all over the village, Naruto and Choji starts collecting them. Tsunade recives word that Hidden Waterfall is not attacking, Which leaves Tsunade really REALLY ticked. Meanwhile, back at the explosion site, Neji and the rest finds that Gennou made a tunnel route to escape. After this, the gang decides to cheeck the Academy since that blueprint was missing. At the Academy, they ask for the kids to leave. Some kids decided to practice kunai. Choji finds something strange about the target which was really a trap blow up not only the Academy, but the entire village!moreless
