    • GOOF: When we see the closeup of the number "2" on the MTAC screen, there's no doomsday clock inside the the "Hook" of the two. However, in later scenes we see the doomsday clock inside the "hook."

    • TRIVIA: Abby mentions three other times when she was as scared as when her lab was being secretly filmed. They were when her ex boyfriend was stalking her in "Bloodbath," when her insane assistant, Chip, held her at knife point in "Frame Up," and when McGee's crazy fan put a gun to her head in "Cover Story."

    • TRIVIA: The picture of the clock shown in the first video is taken out of very famous painting by artist Salvador Dali called The Persistence of Memory.

    • GOOF: When Abby checks Gibbs cell phone for a bomb, she opens the phone and it falls into parts in her hands. No cell phone can be disassembled in seconds.

    • GOOF: When McGee runs into Abby's lab to check on her and fall on the floor, we see his shoes glued on the ground. As he was running, his shoes shouldn't be aligned, they were glued as if he was standing still, not running.

    • Early in the episode Tony references the movie Scream which is a horror film directed by Wes Craven released in 1996. The character Sam Loomis from this episode is perhaps an allusion to Billy Loomis who was one of two main serial killers in the movie.

    • Tony: Wes Craven he's not. Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream... Swamp Thing. Wes Craven is a famous horror film Director/Writer, and the three movies Tony mentions are just a selection of Wes Craven's portfolio.

    • LonelyGirl15 Evolution of Dance Numa Numa Guy All three of these are famous cyber-vids seen all over the internet. They actually showed a brief clip of the last one.

    • "Murder 2.0": this number is a reference to computer programs. When a version is first released it's version is 1.0, and with updates the number changes to indicate the new "version" of the program.

    • Harry Cooper, the janitor in this episode, is named for a character from 1968's Night of the Living Dead. Bob Simms, the man tied to the bear statue and beaten in this episode, is named for the character in the original 1978 Halloween. Bob Simms is the boyfriend who gets stabbed to a door by Michael Myers. Alice Hardy, the surprised wife at the beginning of the episode, is named for a camp counselor in the 1980 movie Friday the 13th. Also, the old lady questioned at the Sunshine Retirement Home, Sally Hardesty, is named after the final girl in the 1974 movie The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
