  • Quotes (14)

    • Tony: I know it can be confusing sometimes. McGee: I'm actually not confused. Tony: You just think you're not confused. In reality, you're very confused. And that contradiction is what makes the whole situation seem more... McGee: Confusing? Tony: Exactly.

    • Kate: You finally met the perfect 50s woman and she almost kills you, DiNozzo. Tony: She was so obedient. Kate: Scary how impressed you are by that.

    • Tony: Question for you Probie. Redbook, why?
McGee: Redbook was, and still is, the definitive magazine for today's young woman.
      Tony: Planning a sex change?
McGee: No. Since I've always been interested in women I figured the best way to know about them is to, you know, know about them.
Tony: McGee- the best way to know about them is to know them.

    • Tony: Let me guess, you never inhaled. McGee: I inhaled. Tony: Yeah. McGee: Once. A little bit. Tony: How was it? McGee: Didn't like it. Kate: You didn't like it? McGee: No... Tony and Kate: He didn't inhale.

    • Abby: Very Silence of the Lambs, don't cha think?

    Trivia (3)

    • The investigation takes them to Jacksonville Naval Base in of course Jacksonville, FL but all the cars that are shown being driven by Gibbs and the rest of the military, they are all shown with license plates on both the front and the back. This doesn't happen in FL. Cars in FL only have license plates on the back of the car.

    • GOOF: A few scenes after the Chaplain's suicide, when Commander Spencer, Kate and Gibbs are looking at a map of the Naval Base, Gibbs tells Commander Spencer that P.O. Swain only has a few hours left, if the Chaplain treats her like he treated the others (note the plural). Not until the next scene do we see McGee, DiNozzo and Melankovich at the Chaplain's home where they find the wedding album revealing that P.O. Figgis was the third victim, and P.O. Swain the fourth.

    • TRIVIA: Near the end of the episode, Tony is seen watching a portion of the episode "The Bachelor" from The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Mark Harmon was the brother-in-law to Rick Nelson who grew up on the show for 14 years. Mark's sister, Kris married Rick and was also on the show.

    Allusions (3)

    • Abby: Very Silence of the Lambs, don't cha think. A reference to a 1991 thriller movie starring Jodie Foster & Anthony Hopkins.

    • Tony: This is really sick. Stephen King'd love it. Stephen King is perhaps the most successful and widely read author in the world. He has written over fifty novels, as well as several non-fiction books such as Danse Macabre (a study of horror in literature and film) and On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft.

    • Episode Title: "The Good Wives Club" The episode title is named after the movie The First Wives Club where three women get back at their husbands for leaving them for younger women.
