    • Tony: Did you have any contact with Seaman MacDonald? Master Chief: Can't say I did, sir. He pretty much kept to himself. Gibbs: Seems to be the general consensus...or the party line.

    • Ducky: Well if you'll excuse me, I'll get our poor seaman out of his wet clothes. Tony: You're not going to say, and into a dry martini, are you? Ducky: No. No, we'll save that for later.

    • Tony: The best IT guy in our office is 22, Harvard. When he gets stuck, he calls his 14 year old nephew.

    • Tony: You might want to warn us about what you're working on after lunch, Ducky. Ducky: Yes. I suppose gazing into a digestive system doesn't assist the actual process. Tony: Not after the meal we just had.

    • Tony: (to Gibbs) When you're a computer geek invading dungeons and fighting ogres, Jethro doesn't cut it. (gets a look from Gibbs)... Neither does Tony.

    Trivia (8)

    • TRIVIA: We learn that Kate is Catholic.

    • GOOF: Since the victim went overboard from the ship, everything that was attached to his body must have come from the ship, including the weights and chain. So an obvious avenue of investigation would have been to find out if there were weights missing from the ship, who had access to them, when it was noticed they were missing, and if the victim ever used the weights. Yet the team didn't look into any of this.

    • TRIVIA: The text that makes up "Weylin's Diary" that Abby is reading on her screen is actually copied from an online novel, "The Keeper," by Rod Chappell.

    • TRIVIA: When we see Tony take off the ship, the helicopter he's on has the number 406. When we next see the helicopter landing in Puerto Rico, the number is now 420.

    • GOOF: After the final intermission, the scene opens up with the port (left) side of the the Forrest except for the fact that the number showing is now 12 and not 51.

Belisarius is the name of Donald P. Bellisario's production company. Count Bellisarius is also the name of one of the greatest generals of the Byzantine Empire, serving under the Emperor Justinian, leading his armies against the Vandals and the Ostrogoths.

    • After Tony manages to buy a sword at the Puerto Rican military base that is forbidden to crewmen, he references Lucy and Ricky Ricardo with his remark, "you've got some 'splaining to do!" to the clerk.
