The academy prides itself on turning delinquents into men - but no-one ever leaves it.
A very typical David Ely story is satisfactorily adapted for this understated "Night Gallery" segment. The twist in the tale is fairly clear from the outset, and it might have worked better had it been reached slightly faster - although the episode is only a quarter of an hour or so. Still, the quiet, orderly manner that Leif Erickson's tyrant exudes at all times is very effective, and Pat Boone, cast against type, manages to suggest all kinds of nastiness under a polite surface. This episode might have dissuaded a few parents from sending their sons to military school - very quietly, it manages to be extremely anarchic.moreless
