  • O'Grady, Noggin's first original animated series, is a comedic look at real teenage lifeā€”the relationships, the drama, and the "weirdness." This new half-hour series revolves around four self-centered high-school students who must deal with their teenage existence while putting up with the "weirdness," an inexplicable bizarre phenomenon that afflicts their town. O'Grady is The-N's first original animated series. Billed as a cross between Friends and The Twilight Zone , the series revolves around four self-centered high school students, who must deal with the reality of their teenage existence while putting up with the "weirdness" that afflicts their town. The animated comedy "O'Grady" is created by Tom Snyder (Home Movies,Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist) and Carl Adams. Lyrics to Theme song (written by Andre Lyman and sung by Kelly Osbourne) Headed for a drive but we're on our way again We hook up with our friends like almost everyday This weird thing happens but there's no one to explain I really don't mind; it's a pretty normal town Not easy to believe that this stuff is real Sometimes it's kinda cool but mostly just annoying Paranormal world, I guess it's a weird place O'GRADY! O'GRADY!moreless

    • Dr. Myers: Sorry guys, I heard laughing. I thought there might be cake.

    • Abby: (to Kevin) It's not a mole, its a beauty mark. Kevin: Whatever... nice mole comrad.

    • Harold: Why would I want to hang out with you? You don't even want to hang out with yourself!

    • Kevin: Alright, Harold, your first phone number. You should get this framed. Harold: Already had it photocopied.

    • Kevin: (to Abby and Harold) Vegeterians are just mad that they can't eat meat.

    • Abby: Ooh, sunless tanner!

    • Abby: This party is gonna be awesome. Your mom will never know about it and Pete will never know what kissed him. Beth: What? What did you just say? Abby: Pete will never know what hit him.

    Notes (113)

    • Abby's last name is Wilde. Beth's last name is Briggs. Kevin's last name is Harnish. Harold's last name is Jenkins.

    • Songs featured in this episode: 1. Sugar Ray - When It's Over 2. India Arie - Video 3. Eve - Satisfaction 4. Green Day - Waiting

    • Since it was so hard for Harold to produce a clone, one can conclude that he is really good at anger management.

    • Mr. Lipschitz produced the most clones and he didn't even seem so noticeably angry. He must harbor all that anger inside.

    • The clones were produced when a person got angry and they were deleted when the clones got scared.

    • There's some kind of "dolphin in space" painting above Beth's fireplace.

    • Apparently, Mr. Lipschitz does not like being a teacher.

    • Beth's mom finds out about the party but the Weirdness made her forget it.

    Trivia (15)

    • For much of the episode, Kevin's hair color was not visable. You could only see his outlines.

    • When Abby and Beth are making fun of Kevin's mullet, he's not wearing a hat, but a second later he has one on.

    • When the band is rehearsing, Harold says, "5, 6" while he's grunting, but his mouth isn't even open.

    • At the party when Phillip is talking to Kevin and Harold about the Weirdness, he doesn't appear to have any teeth when he's laughing.

    • Goof: When Abby is talking about how unbelievable Kevin is the posters say, "Opened for Guster and Blink 182." Later, the posters say "We opened for Guster and Sum 41."

    • Nitpick: When Kevin signs Brainfart up, he has the word, "Brainfar" written so far, and then the camera switches to Abby. Then, a second later when it goes back to Kevin, he finished writing "Brainfart" and drew a brain farting (the band logo). It is amazing how he managed to do that in such a short time.

    • Goof: When Kevin signs Brainfart up for the O' Grady Idol list, there are no actual names on the paper.

    • There was really no point in everybody using their cell phones in the Enchanted Soybean. Since it was the only place in town that has reception, the people that the cell phone users want to talk to are right in that store. So they can simply talk to them without using cell phones.

    Allusions (10)

    • Kevin makes a reference to all those teen movies, in which teens have parties when their parents are away and manage to clean up before they get home.

    • American Idol The title of this episode, O'Grady Idol is a parody of the show, "American Idol," which is a hit FOX musical reality series with three judges, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson II and Paula Abdul, along with host Ryan Seacrest searching around the United States in search of the next American Idol, a pop star that truly shines above all the rest. With help from the viewers, they will decide from thousands of participants who will walk away with a record deal and the fame and fortune that is sure to come along with it.

    • Hippie: (to Abby) You are my new muse! A Muse is from Greek mythology. They are nine in number, although some of them specialize in some type of poetry. It is also an inspiration.

    • Plot Similarity This episode is very similiar to an episode of "Danny Phantom" called "Life Lessons," in which Tucker had a babysitting service for the surrogate babies (which were actually flour sacks) called the "Flour Power Day Care Center," which is very similiar to Kevin's, "The Babinator." Tucker makes a lot of money until, his mom uses all the flour sacks to make cookies. Tucker's business is obliterated, everybody who paid for this service failed, and he had to return all the money back, which is very similar to what happened to Kevin's business.

    • This episode is very similiar to an episode of "That's so Raven" called "Art Breaker," in which Cory and William made a secret soda giving operation, when their school took away all the soda machines in order to cutback on sugar.

    • Phillip's behavior is very similiar to the typical behavior of the policemen on the show "Cops."

    • Kevin and Harold's illegal sugar giving operation is very similar to the 1920's speakeasies during Prohibition.

    • Kevin's hat is green and has a miniature penguin on it. This is just like the Kangol hats which have miniature kangaroos on the top
