  • Trivia (1)

    • In the first scene, a character viewing a crime through a telephoto lens sees the scene from first one angle and then (impossibly) from another without moving.

    Allusions (1)

    • Roger Byrd: For they who await no gifts from chance have conquered fate.

The quote is actually from a poem called "Resignation" and was written by English poet and cultural critic Matthew Arnold (1822-1888). The full quote is "Yet they, believe me, who await no gifts from Chance, have conquer'd Fate."
