  • Quotes (4)

    • Sam: Well, I can get rid of the guard dogs. I just need a gallon of anything flammable.
      Finch: What?
Sam: Oh, relax, Finch, we're in a hospital
Finch: Miss Shaw, I am sure there are ways to get to Claypool that do not involve any kind of combustion.

    • Arthur: You know, Harold was the most brilliant of all of us. If anyone was going to change the world, we knew it would be him. You know, what did you end up doing? What's your field of expertise?
      Finch: Insurance.

    • Teenage Harold: If they don't want you to get inside, they ought to build it better.

    • Reese: How'd you find me?
Fusco: What do you think, I won my detective shield in a poker game? All right, Glasses helped a little.

    • Music: The Sky is Crying (Stevie Ray Vaughn)

    Trivia (3)

    • There is no Lassiter, IA, in the vicinity of Cedar Rapids or anywhere else in the state.

    • The Machine's initial review of events includes a surveillance camera shot of Root in the library cage. However, Finch is deliberately keeping Root out of contact with The Machine. Even without sound, she could easily communicate with The Machine via camera in several ways, from lip-reading to writing down a message (if she is allowed paper and pencil) to arranging book covers to form messages.

    • Trivia: Hersh's full name of Robert N. Hersh is given in The Machine's final display.

    Allusions (1)

    • Sam: You all right there, Dudley?
Referencing Dudley Do-Right, the dim-witted but heroic Canadian Mountie immortalized in The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show (1959-1964), and later spun off into his own show and a live-action movie. Dudley fights against Snidely Whiplash with the assistance of Horse, his horse.

did anyone else notice the Saul Rubinek Character was named Arthur and worked for the NSA. the same as the Character he plays in Warehouse 13

Ending was fun where the Competing systems list was. PRISM status was noted as Active, Decoy. Also Bullrun and Fairview. And if I googled then other deactivated program names seemed also from real life military/NSA programs

Did anyone notice at the ending confrontation, with the Machine watching, that Hersh was a gold box alongside Finch and Shaw. But not blue like Shaw was previously when she worked for Control?

That is getting me extremely confused. where does Hershs' loyalty lie then?

The promo for "Lethe" is up at youtube. I chuckled out loud when I saw Fusco help Reese work through his maudlin state of mind!
