    • Fusco: I mean, come on, you gotta need something. Are we gonna bust John out of there or what?
Finch: Oh, it sounds like such a bad idea when you say it.

    • Reese: Can we just do this and go?
Kara: Okay, John. If we're gonna be partners, you're going to have to lighten up.
Reese: It's my first triple-homicide. Didn't know I was supposed to prepare jokes.

    • Donnelly: Is the earpiece not working?
Carter: I'm building rapport. That's how you get good intel. Would you rather I waterboarded him?

    • Byron: You know, this is the bastard that stole my dog.
Reese: Be honest. He wanted to leave.

    • Elias: Can't have Agent Donnelly spying on our reunion, can we? I know all about his hunt for the "man in the suit." Personally, I think they could have come up with a better name.

Best part was Fusco obviously on a very exciting mission to save the girl but we saw almost nothing of it. Loved it!!! At least we had that as the main story was boring as hell.

wtf happened to the 9.8 rating? O.o

    • Derpanos Jan 18, 2013

      Trolls, that's what happened.

    • Lyta_499 Jan 15, 2013

The same thing that happened to the positive reviews that got voted down, I'm guessing a group of PoI haters out there somewhere

    • Derpanos Jan 18, 2013

Took the words right out of my mouth. Probably some Grey's Anatomy fanatics jealous of Person of Interest's strong ratings/viewership.

    • Lyta_499 Jan 19, 2013

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the phrase "Grey's Anatomy" fanatics... Sorry to the fans, don't mean to hate on your show but... it's such a snoozefest I'm having trouble believing it could create just one fanatic, let alone a bunch of them who organize to troll on other shows :p

@WellsFargo, Above you asked if the yellow box around Reese in the past means he knew about the machine then. According to Jonah and Gregg (from the DVD comentaries I believe) the "flashbacks" are actually the machine seaching it's own archives on people it's keeping track of. So basically the machine is just replaying old footage in present time and because Reese knows about the machine now the machine can now box him out in yellow.

OMG!!! This episode has out-done the 1st season finale.

    • DeborahSaunde Jan 11, 2013

Gaww, this episode had me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails. I loved all the Reese/Carter scenes in the prison, and the flashbacks. THAT kiss. Finch all gun ho. The ending. Whew. Superb.

    • LeeCuttler Jan 13, 2013

That kiss was Reese saving his own life because Kara would have shot him had he not lied suddenly about no longer being a "boy scout". All the flashbacks were Reese's struggle between his desire too just do his job as a way to stop terrism and her joy of just killing people.
