  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (6)

    • Dangle: Sheriff Wagner, the Reno Sherriff's Department isn't just my co-workers, they're like my family. But they're also...the dumbest group of people I've ever met who weren't legally retarded.

    • Trudy: Terry was giving tug jobs on the East Coast out here. He says he's out here recording his album. Terry: I am recording my album. See, I have a violin. Trudy: That's a ukulele, Terry. Terry: Your mom's a ukulele...Terry.

    • Dangle: (yelling) How did the 911 switchboard come unplugged!? Trudy: (yelling) Because we had to unplug it to plug in the popcorn maker! Dangle: Don't yell--don't yell back at me, I'm in no mood for my own tone of voice, ok?

    • Clementine: (Looking at the bandage on her chest) Oh, my...if I have been stabbed I'm gonna be so pissed!

    • Junior: Reno's a lot like Mayberry on TV, except everybody's on crystal meth and prostitution is legal.

    Notes (7)

    • Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) is a big fan of Reno 911. When he was approached about making a cameo appearance, he very graciously agreed to do it for scale, even turning down the producer's offer to supply him with a driver to the set.

    • The whole cast of The State, where Dangle, Junior and Trudy got started, are in the movie. They are in the scenes involving the tattoo parlors.

    • In the DVD trailer this movie is advertised as Reno 911!: The Movie instead of it's real name, Reno 911!: Miami. When the movie came to theaters it's trailer said Reno 911!: Maimi: The Movie. However, on the DVD cover it says "Miami" in very small print, while "The Movie" is in much larger print.

    • Both the Rated R and the Unrated versions of the movie were released on DVD on June 16, 2007.

    • This was one of MySpace's "Black Curtain Screenings" premiere movies. Others include Jackass Number 2 and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters.

    Trivia (3)

    • If you look closely at the bed when Jim says to Clemmie, "Uh oh, yeast infection time" you can see that someone under the covers moves. That's Kerri Kenney, who originally was supposed to pop up at the end of the scene, but that idea was later scrapped.

    • All the methods the deputies use to try to move the whale are exactly the same as when they tried to move the 10 Commandments statue in "Dangle's Ex Visits".

    • In the last episode of the first half of season 4 Trudy was still pregnant, while in this movie she wasn't. Now in the premiere of the second half she will still be pregnant. It may be confusing because of the the order that the movie and the episodes were played, but the movie wasn't filmed with season four at all.

    Allusions (4)

    • Dangle: Everybody, let's be careful out there, ok? Jim's words echo those of Capt. Frank Furillo from the 1981 drama series Hill Street Blues, who would end each morning roll call with, "Let's be careful out there."

    • Romeo and Juliet The scene at The International Inn where all the deputies end the evening exploring "self love" is a twisted recreation of the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet.

    • The Exploding Whale You wouldn't think anyone would do that in real life, but they did. A whale beached itself in Florence, OR in 1970 and the Oregon Highway Division decided to blow it up. Take a look at the results here.

    • Scarface Paul Rudd's character as a drug dealer is an obvious reference to Al Pacino in Scarface, right down to his accent.
