  • I'm probably the only fan of Rocko and Filburt as a couple really...

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (9)

    • Heffer: Back off, man. I saw him first! Filbert: Don't make me use this, cow! (referring to the knife he's holding) Rocko: Boys, boys, get a grip! We're friends, remember? And friends don't eat friends! Right Hef? Fil? (Cut to Heffer and Filbert gnawing on each other)

    • (The three stand in front of a sliding door that opens to reveal hanging vending machines) Filbert: Ohhhh. Heffer: Ohhhh. Rocko: Awwww Filbert: Hermetically sealed nourishment! Heffer: And food!

    • Rocko: This is where the lightweights camp, sissys, fat tourists and couch potatoes. Heffer: Great, so we can drop our stuff here? Rocko: No, we're not any of those things! Filbert: I think I'm getting a rash from this pack.

    • Ranger: And here we see the mighty Redwood tree. Tourist 2: Oh, Fred isn't it lovely? Tourist 1: Dang! Ranger: This is a leaf from some kind of tree. Tourist 1: Hold it, I gotta get a shot of that! Ranger: And this is an actual rock, they are found in dirt much like the kind around here. Tourist 2: Imagine! Oh I just love nature!

    • (yelling at each other in an angry tone) Filbert: All I was trying to do was to be a good wife! Rocko: Yeah, I know, but you were trying too hard! Filbert: I know, I got carried away! Rocko: That's okay, I know you meant well, but if this marriage is going to break up our friendship, I'd rather be deported! Filbert: Boy Rocko, you really are a good friend!

    Notes (9)

    • "Kiss Me, I'm Foreign" was referenced in the Nintendo GameCube title Mario Power Tennis.

    • Note that Heffer eats the steaks that "magically" appear. As he is a steer this would make him a cannibal for eating cow meat.

    • Nickelodeon didn't get the gay contact in CatDog (Let the Games Begin!), ChalkZone (Water, Water), and Yakkity Yak (High Fashion Yak) as well.

    • In "Kiss Me, I'm Foreign," the pink bunny standing at the counter keeps saying, "Turn the page, wash your hands." This is a reference to Filburt's line from "Canned." That same bunny also appears in Rocko's flashback in "Down the Hatch."

    • In "Hut Sut Raw," the scene with the berries and the bear is still shown in the United Kingdom.

    Trivia (5)

    • In Kiss Me, I'm Foreign, the bunny in Rocko's comic store is hit by a wind-up Godzilla toy that falls off the shelf, and then shatters to pieces among hitting the floor. The toy shouldn't have broken like glass when hitting the ground, as usually those toys are made of a rather tough plastic.

    • In the scene where Rocko is shivering and hazily singing the Hut Sut Raw camp song, you notice that he has his regular pink sneakers. But just when him, Heffer and Filburt are running from the rodents, his sneakers turn back to purple.

    • During the fight when Rocko said "I know you mean well," his teeth turn yellow.

    • One of the camper's has a bumper sticker that reads, 'LEAVE MY GUNS ALONE OR I'LL KILL YOU.'

    • In "Kiss Me, I'm Foreign" when the deportation commissioner sticks his head out of the toilet, the seat is up, but when Rocko looks at it the seat is down, then when he looks at the mirror it's back up again.

    Allusions (2)

    • The Tasmanian Devil: When Rocko opens the packet of freeze dried food it is blown away in a small tornado that makes a sound exactly like The Tasmanian Devil from The Looney Toons Show.

    • The title "Kiss Me, I'm Foreign" is a parody of the phrase "Kiss Me, I'm Irish."
