Monica Dunn: How's Sam?
Andy McNally: Sam's good. Um, he just made detective. I don't know if you knew that.
Monica Dunn: (surprised) You got Sam Swarek into a suit, huh? Never thought I'd see the day.
Andy McNally: Well, yeah, it's just more like a dress shirt and jeans combo but we broke up so I don't really have a say on his clothes anymore.
Monica Dunn: Oh. Sorry, I, I didn't know.
Andy McNally: That's okay. No, we're really good friends still.
Monica Dunn: I've heard that before.
Gail Peck: What, you don't have a girlfriend?
Alex: I used to have one.
Gail Peck: What happened?
Alex: I don't really know. Everything was going so great and then all of a sudden it was over.
Andy McNally: Yeah, that happens sometimes.
Alex: Well, it shouldn't. When you find someone you love it should be forever, no matter what.
Andy McNally: I agree.
