    • Jimmy Fallon: Get out of here! Louie Anderson: Show me "Get out of here!"

    Notes (10)

    • Sketches not shown in the 60-minute edit: "Kotex Classic," the Louie Anderson segment on Weekend Update, "The Ferey Muthar Talk Show," "One-Man Charles Dickens," "Kevin and Richie's Comic Book Zone," and Kylie Minogue's performance of "In Your Eyes."

    • According to the book "Live From New York", Ian McKellen (as Maggie Smith) slipped his tongue inside Jimmy's mouth during the infamous kiss on Weekend Update, which is why Jimmy Fallon pulled back and appeared to be disgusted.

    • This is the last episode featuring the "NPR Delicious Dish" sketch.

    • During Kylie Minogue's performance of "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", you can see Ian McKellen standing on the side of the stage.

    • This episode won an Emmy for Best Writing.

    Trivia (3)

    • In the Ferey Muthar Talk Show sketch, Tarik Ozekial's(Darrell Hammond's) mustache peels off in the middle of the sketch. Despite Halash's (Ian McKellen's) best efforts to stick the mustache on Ozekial's face again, it doesn't work. Horatio Sanz (as Ferey Muthar) ad-libs by pointing out that Ozekial (Hammond's) mustache is fake and that he's not man enough to grow a real one.

    • The NBC rerun of this episode (as well as the 60-minute edit) inexplicably replaces the "Versace Oscar Party" title card with the title card from the "DisMissed" sketch from the Jonny Moseley/OutKast episode.

    • When announcing the host and musical guest for the next new episode, Don Pardo announces the musical guest as Jimmy Eats World.
