  • Notes (3)

    • In the Central and Eastern time zones, the start of the show was delayed 12 minutes because coverage of the Penguins-Blackhawks hockey game ran late.

    • Nasim Pedrad does not appear until the goodnights.

    • This is the first episode of "Weekend Update with Colin Jost and Cecily Strong" and Jost's first episode as a featured player. Also, Pete Schultz replaces Alex Baze as Weekend Update producer.

    Trivia (1)

    • At the beginning of Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley's commentary on Weekend Update, the camera briefly cuts back to Cecily giggling at the other end of the desk. Colin Jost and Kenan Thompson joke briefly before going ahead with the written piece.

Cast/crew listing: Jeff Beck as himself. Wait, that was Jeff Beck? Hansen? Mmmbop? Bek Hansen? Beck Hansen? Jim Henson? Wikipedia? Factcheck.org?? Anyone??? Whomever "he" was, he was great.

Jim Parsons was good, but the writing wasn't very good. I think they're missing Seth Meyers. Weekend Update was funnier than the rest of the episode, but I don't think there were as many laughs as other WUs.

I disagree, I thought they had funnier, and most original sketches than most of the season!
