  • Notes (4)

    • Clips from the disasterous "Live from Mardi Gras" special from 1977 are shown, the first time ever since it was repeated six months after the chaos.

    • Jane Curtin and Bill Murray only appear in clips from old episodes. Murray couldn't be interviewed because he was busy working on the film Broken Flowers and Curtin declined to be interviewed because she doesn't like to "look back." 1979-80 cast member Harry Shearer was interviewed, but none of his comments made the final cut.

    • This was a two-hour primetime special that aired from 9pm ET-11pm ET on a Sunday night on NBC. The accompanying DVD was released six months later.

    • Presented in HDTV (clips from the show not in 16:9 HDTV).
