    • Jimmy Fallon: The first week of Maine's annual moose hunt began on Monday and ends tomorrow - Tina Fey: (interrupts) Wait, wait, wait. Are you serious? Jimmy Fallon: What? Yeah. Tina Fey: It's just that I promised myself I would kill a moose this year, and now it's too late. Aargh, I never finish anything! Jimmy Fallon: That's not true, Tina. You're one of the most disciplined people I know. Tina Fey: If that were true, I'd be eating moose jerky right now.

    • Tina Fey: MSNBC reporter Ashleigh Banfield, now in Pakistan covering events there, has cut her hair short and died it brown in order to go undercover in the male-dominated country. Take it from me, Ashley: If you think having brown hair and wearing glasses will keep men from noticing you... you are right.

    • (After showing a picture of a Batman action figure) Alex Trebek: Is this Batman or Robin? (Chris Tucker buzzes) Chris Tucker? Chris Tucker: Yo I KNOW THIS MAN! THAT'S ROBIN! Alex Trebek: No. So since it's not Robin that leaves only one correct response. (Anne Heche buzzes) Anne Heche? Anne Heche: Who is Robin? Alex Trebek: (looks askance) Amazing.

    • Lorne: Can we be funny? Mayor Giuliani: Why start now?

    • Alex Trebek: Chris Tucker is in the lead with negative $5,000. Mr. Tucker has answered every question with the same response - Chris Tucker: DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH? Alex Trebek: That's the one.

    Notes (10)

    • Paul Simon previously performed "The Boxer" in Saturday Night Live's second episode, in 1975.

    • The part on Weekend Update with Jesse Jackson and Jimmy Fallon is shown on the E! rerun of the Gwenyth Paltrow/Ryan Adams episode.

    • Sketches/segments not shown in the 60-minute edit: "Preparation H," the Jesse Jackson commentary on Weekend Update, "Celebrity Jeopardy," "Farting Baby," and Alicia Keys' performance of "A Woman's Worth."

    • Instead of "I'm freezing my balls off," the original punchline to Reese's joke in the monologue was "I'm f--king freezing!" Lorne wanted her to swear (promising he'd pay the fine) since he wanted to show that New York was back up and running. She decided not to at the last minute since she has so many young fans.

    • Even though Chris Parnell is no longer in the cast, his Weekend Update Intro voice-over remains for this episode and the following one. It has been replaced on reruns with Amy Poehler's.

    Trivia (3)

    • Alicia Keys's voice cracks during the first verse of "A Woman's Worth".

    • The captions on the E! rerun say that the band plays "In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida" but they play "Sunshine of Your Love" instead.

    • Don Pardo announces Ana Gasteyer's name when Tina Fey's screeshot is on screen.

    Allusions (3)

    • Wake Up Wakefield: Music
Megan sings "Truly Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden while watching Randy Goldman at the viewer window, and Jazz Times Ten plays "Sunshine of Your Love" by Cream at the end of the show.

    • Anne Heche: "I slept with a lot of famous people."
People that Anne Heche says she slept with on her resume are Ellen DeGeneres, who she actually had a relationship with and broke up in 2001, plus Steve Martin, cartoon character Quick Draw McGraw, the Cream of Wheat Guy, and among others... our very own Chris Kattan.

    • Jimmy Fallon: "Officials have started checking theaters showing Glitter." "Glitter" was a box office flop starring Mariah Carey about a girl's rise to music stardom. The failure of the film added to her very public breakdown in late 2001.
