    • According to Sarah Jessica Parker, Lorne Michaels virtually ignored her during the production week. "I'd come into his office, and he'd put his head down and not pay attention... if I had been my normal self, I would have really flipped out, because I would have thought, he doesn't like me at all."

    • Sarah Jessica Parker is the only cast member from the show Sex and the City to host SNL.

    • NBC never reran this episode in its original timeslot.

    • Bill Murray only appears at the end of this episode to pay tribute to Michael O'Donoghue (a.k.a. Mr. Mike). Michael died on November 7, 1994, of a cerebral hemorrhage at age 54. The tribute is cut out of the 60-minute edit of this episode, so Murray is not seen nor credited in this version.
