  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (2)

    • Chris Matthews: It may be true, Begala, but take a look at this: (shows picture with Begala and Osama bin Laden's heads on the bodies of two male strippers) Paul Begala: Hey, that's not real! Where did you get that? Chris Matthews: That's the Adobe Photoshop. I also have one of Boba Fett's head on my body. It's awesome.

    • Paul Begala: Chris, that is ludicrous. Chris Matthews: Jimmy Neutron, you got a comment? Paul Begala: Call me crazy... Chris Matthews: Okay, you're a bonehead. Paul Begala: I said, call me crazy... Chris Matthews: I know, but I think you're a bonehead.

    Notes (5)

    • In the original live broadcast, the SNL Christmas Song was cut off due to time constraints. It was shown in its 3 1/2-minute entirety when the broadcast was repeated in June 2002.

    • Sketches/segments not shown in the 60-minute edit: all of Weekend Update, "The SNL Christmas Song" (aka A Message From Saturday Night Live), "Drunk Girl's Sister at Studio 8H," "Singing Subway Couple," "The Girl With No Gaydar," Andrew W.K.'s performance of "I Get Wet", and the tribute to Dave Wilson.

    • A sketch was cut after dress rehearsal featuring The Rock and Chris Parnell in jail. Parnell played The Rock's "bitch" and was slapped around during the sketch (similiar to the "Nicotrel" sketch from The Rock's first appearance).

    • The NBC rerun of this episode features a short tribute to former SNL director Dave Wilson, who died of an aortic aneurysm in June 2002.

    • Ray Romano was scheduled to host this episode but dropped out due to a schedule conflict.

    Trivia (1)

    • In the "Scorpion King" sketch, Dwayne Johnson's character mispronounces the word "tomb," forcing him to ad-lib himself out of the embarassing situation.
