In 1988, he costarred in the comedy film Coming to America with Eddie Murphy. From 1989 through 1994, he hosted The Arsenio Hall Show. • Zack is hosting a dating game show in Jessie's dream. This is an allusion to The Dating Game. The Dating Game was an ABC television show that first aired on December 20, 1965. ABC dropped the show in 1973, but it resurfaced in several syndicated versions (1973-1974 as The New Dating Game, 1978-1980, 1986-1989, and 1996-1999).
