  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (3)

    • Kelly: I'm kinda thinking about being a housewife, or an actress. Do you think I'll be a good actress Zach? Zach: Well fantastic! Every night you star in my dreams!

    • Needik: Where's Slater? Screech: I killed him! I wanted first crack at you!

    • Slater: Screech, what are you doing? Screech: Cruising for chicks Slater: In the boys locker room?

    Notes (4)

    • Mrs. Cummings, the Home Economics teacher, sings her song to the tune of Peggy Lee's signature song, 'I'm a Woman'.

    • Mark-Paul Gosselaar was into dirt bikes while this series was being filmed. Zack's desire to ride dirt bikes is a reflection of the actor's.

    • The way that the cooking teacher sings her little song (da-da-da-da-da) sounds very much like the opening music that is heard throughout the series.

    • According to people who were there, this episode took quite a long time to film because Mario Lopez (Slater) insisted on baking the cake himself.

    Trivia (5)

    • After tasting Slater's cake, Mrs. Cummings comments that she's taking his cake home. But in the next scene at the Max, the gang is scene eating it.

    • There is no concievable reason why Nedick would come to the Max to pressure Slater into wrestling (especially at the behest of Zack) because--as Nedick himself points out a moment later--without Slater to wrestle him, Nedick automatically wins the bet he had against Zack, and Zack's dirt-bike.

    • The fake 'beer belly' that is sticking out of the older wrestler-Slater's shirt is obviously fake: when he turns to the side, you can see that it is clearly over the shirt, not coming out from under it; you can also see the straps to it.

    • In this episode, Kelly decides that she'd like to be either an actress or a housewife. It seems she changes her mind, though, as in a College Years episode a few years later, she tells Zack she is interested in medicine.

    • When Mrs. Cummings is judging the chocolate cakes the students made, she merely tap-dances past those made by most of the students, and only comments on those made by the main characters of the show.

    Allusions (1)

    • During the discussion about careers, the gang mentions Vanna White. She and Pat Sajak co-host the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune.
