  • Quotes (4)

    • (huffing and puffing after climbing up the pyramid) Shaggy: Like if the Aztecs were so brilliant, why didn't they invent an elevator?

    • Shaggy: Oh great. A dark spooky tunnel. I hate dark spooky tunnels!

    • (after reading the warning on their van) Shaggy: Looks like someone wants us to make like a piñata and beat it.

    • (running from the sound of the monster and opened and shut the door after seeing Fred) Shaggy: No, Scoob, he's trying to break in!

    Notes (1)

    • Up to now, B.J. Ward had been Velma's voice in the Warner-produced made-for-video animated Scooby movies. This movie marks the return of Nicole Jaffe as Velma.

    Trivia (1)

    • When Fred's talking about Spanish letter "Ñ" he explains that the word "MAÑANA" should have 'tilde' on an N and he writes it. Then, we can see in his notebook that he has written "MANAÑA" and the correct Spanish word is "MAÑANA", with tilde on the first N (and not in the second as he wrote).

    Allusions (1)

    • "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." The ghost says this as the gang gets close to finding the guy responsible for the fake ghost. This is a famous quote from the movie The Wizard of Oz.
