    Notes (5)

    • The football game footage used is from a Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants game on September 9, 1990. A giveaway that the footage is obsolete is the visibility of Eagles' #99, DE Jerome Brown, who died in a car crash in the summer of 1992.

    • Jerry mentions his streak of not throwing up, a streak that finally ends a couple episodes later in "The Dinner Party".

    • In this episode Jerry calls George "a bad seed" when his girlfriend is complaining about him. Elaine will refer to George as "a bad seed" again in 804 "The Little Kicks."

    • Elaine dates a man named Joel Rifkin. Out of fear that people might mistake him for the famous serial killer she suggests he change his name. One on her list was "O.J.". Several months later football player O.J. Simpson was accused of murder.

    • On an episode of Love and War that was broadcast on 6 Dec 93, Jerry and Larry David appear in a cameo as themselves.

    Trivia (6)

    • Goof: When Elaine mentions she has an extra ticket to the Giants game, Kramer says that he'll go and Elaine replies that she'll leave a ticket for him at will call. Later, when Kramer goes to retrieve the ticket, he has no I.D. and the attendant says he would need confirmation from the person who left the ticket. If Elaine was the one who left the ticket at will call, they would not have broadcasted Joel's name over the loudspeaker.

    • According to many crossovers, the universes of Cheers and Seinfeld are the same; however, Anthony Cistaro's characters in both shows are different.

    • Kramer is trying to get into the football game but in season 6's "The Label Maker" Jerry said that Kramer only likes Canadian football.

    • In the sence where Joel Rifkin and Elaine are watching the football game, part of the game is shown. The player making the tackle for the Eagles is #99 Jerome Brown. The problem with this is that Jerome Brown was killed in a tragic car accident on June 25, 1992, so when the episode aired on November 18, 1993, there was no way Jerome Brown could have been playing in that game!

    • Jerry tells Elaine that Joel Rifkin strangled 18 people. In actuality, he was only responsible for 17 murders.
