  • Notes (4)

    • This episode survives in two forms: videotape clips and 16mm kinescopes. The videotape clips are of the Beatles' performances and the Karl Denver finale. Hopefully, the master videotape of the entire episode survives.

    • Cilla Black does not appear on this episode (she is listed in TV Guide as a scheduled guest).

    • Jimmy O'Neill is the only Shindig regular to appear on this episode. The dancers on this episode are not the regular Shindig dancers seen on the Hollywood shows. The Carefrees provide the backup singing.

    • This episode was taped on October 3, 1964 at the Granville Theatre TV Studios in Fulham, London.
