    • Shindig's cancellation was part of a mid-season reshuffle at ABC, which the network called "The Second Season." (ABC also cancelled "The King Family," "Amos Burke" and "O.K. Crackerby!") The new ABC shows were "Batman" (starring Adam West); "Blue Light" (starring Robert Goulet); "The Double Life of Henry Phyfe" (starring Red Buttons); and "The Baron" (starring Steve Forrest). Three of these new shows were "saluted" on this final episode of Shindig. Shindig's Saturday time slot was given to "Ozzie and Harriet" ("Batman" Part 1 took over Ozzie and Harriet's old Wednesday night time slot.) And the Thursday "Shindig" was replaced by "Batman" Part 2.

    • This was the final Shindig! This episode was originally in COLOR.
