  • Quotes (16)

    • Tattoo Freak: I think I know why Luthor didn’t file that robbery report. Check this out. Ten to one, the poster-boy for Rogaine doesn’t want anyone to know that he’s tapped into his daddy’s computer system.

    • Pete: Oh no, not the Kent 1,000-yard stare.

    • Lex: You have no idea who you're dealing with.

    • Clark: How're you feeling? Chloe: Like a million bucks... that was thrown in the washing machine and set on "spin".

    • Chloe: Well, I am perturbed with you, Clark. I'm also mad that you didn't put out the Chicago fire of 1871, or prevent the fall of the Roman Empire, making you directly responsible for the Dark Ages.

    Notes (1)

    • Music: "1 A.M." by Beautiful Creatures, "New World Order" by Onesidezero, "Set It Off" by P.O.D., and "Perfect Memory" by Remy Zero.

    Trivia (6)

    • When the thieves look at the monitor and the one with the plastic arm says "Check this out", they walk to him. While they come to him, the guy's lips move again and form the "Check this out", but you can't hear any voice.

    • How come after the truck hits Whitney it doesn't stop? It beeps its horn to try to get him out of the way and then hits him and just keeps driving.

    • When the guys throw Whitney in front of the truck, the truck would have reached him way before he could have stood up.

    • The computer disk Clark is holding when he crushes it isn't a computer disk at all, it's a MiniDisc. It shows the number 74 on it which indicates a 74 minute MiniDisc. Why do this? A normal computer disk would have worked just as well.

    • Exactly how does Chloe end up grabbing the ledge when she gets pushed out by one of the three phase-shifting guys? The way she was pushed out, she was in a semi-sitting position falling backwards. Barring a ridiculously perfect backflip, she wouldn't have been able to catch the ledge yet does so while she calls for Clark. Just a tad bit impossible...

    Allusions (2)

    • Clark: Chloe, you were in the hospital, not Alcatraz. Alcatraz Island is located in the middle of San Francisco Bay in California. It was formerly used as a military stockade and in 1934 it became a maximum security prison, housing infamous criminals including Al Capone. The prison was closed in 1963. Today, the island is a historic site supervised by the National Park Service as part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and is open to tours.

    • Tattoo Freak #1: There is no telling how much jack he has got stashed in that castle. Cash, jewels, art, cars, you name it. If we'd gone downstairs we probably would have found the money pit where he swims in the stuff like that duck with the Irish accent. Tattoo Freak #2: Uncle Scrooge. Uncle Scrooge McDuck, Scottish uncle to Donald Duck and a Walt Disney Character. Scrooge is extremely wealthy and stingy (he being named after Ebenezer Scrooge from Charles Dickens's Christmas Carol). Uncle Scrooge appeared in comics beginning in the 1940s, and starred in the 1980s animated TV show Duck Tales. In that show, Uncle Scrooge owned a "Money Bin," a tower full of his wealth including gold coins and other treasures, in which he would literally swim.
