    • Tony Roster: Other names of real-life Broadway actors announced at the faux Tony Award nominations announcement were: Anika Noni Rose, Harvey Fierstein, Casey Nicholaw, Susan Stroman, David Lindsay-Abaire, Jeanine Tesori, Rob Ashford, Diane Paulus, Sutton Foster, Kate Baldwin and Audra McDonald. Ironically, all of these people have been previously Tony-nominated in real life.

       

    • Broadway Mentions: Gathering the Storm, with a book by real-life 2013 Tony nominee for Kinky Boots, Harvey Fierstein, plays the Longacre Theatre, ironically where the recent 2010 revival of Fierstein's hit La Cage aux Folles played. Hit List plays the Ethel Barrymore, currently home to Macbeth; Karen mentions the musicals Rent and Passing Strange; Ana auditions for the touring company of 2012 Best Musical winner Once. The Tony Awards website is also loaded up onto Agnes' computer screen in Eileen's office.
