  • Welcome to the Sons And Daughters guide at TV.Com. Sons and Daughters began in 1982 and initially followed the lives of the Hamilton and Palmer families. During 1983 the Morrell family were introduced into the series. When Rowena Wallace quit the role of Patrica Hamilton the role was recast with Belinda Giblen taking over the part several months after Rowena left. Patrica returned to the show living under the name of Alison Carr. When Rowena Wallace wanted to return to the show she returned as Pamela Hudson, Alison's twin sister. The show ran for six years until it's cancellation in 1987. The show was also shown in the UK on the ITV network and has recently been rerun on Channel 5. Brian Blain, Leila Hayes, Pat McDonald and Ian Rawlings were on the show throughout it's complete run. The series started again in an early morning slot in January 2002. Sons and Daughters took the time slot at 5:35am-6:00am on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

    • Sons and Daughters has bean shown in the UK on the following channels, UK Gold / Channel 5 / ITV. The series was first shown on ITV during the 80's.

  • I love Sons and Daughters. I have been watching it since it first started in 1981. I like Angela Hamilton Keegan played by Alexandra Fowler because she is one of my favorite characters in the show.
