  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • Spider-man: (to Doctor Strange after he opens a hole in a forcefield) Remind me to call you if I ever lose my house key.

    • Spider-Man: (About Doctor Strange) He should take that act to vegas. All he needs is a couple of tigers!

    • Dr. Strange: You are a worthy ally in the battle against darkness. May the Vishanti watch over thee. Spider-Man: And may your amulets... never... tickle.

    • Dr. Strange: Here we are again, Wong. About to leap into the unknown, to fight the deadliest battle of our lives. Wong: Exciting, is it not, Doctor? Dr. Strange: It is. Spider-Man: No offense, but you guys are really weird!

    • Dr. Strange: I must warn you. The odds against us returning alive are astronomical. Spider-Man: Big deal. I've been through the Bronx. I'm ready.

    Notes (4)

    • Doctor Strange made his Marvel Comic debut in July 1963 in Strange Tales #110. This was eleven months after Spider-Man had made his original debut.

    • This episode features a TaleSpin reunion of sorts. Ed Gilbert provided the voice of Baloo on that show, and Tony Jay voiced Shere Khan. Similarly, George Takai and Majel Barret appeared on the original Star Trek together.

    • The Center for Reunification is protected by the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak - the same things that give the X-Men's foe the Juggernaut his power.

    • This episode was heavily based on Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2.

    Allusions (1)

    • Spider-Man: He should take that act to Vegas - all he needs is a couple of tigers!
Spider-Man's comment on the impressiveness of Dr. Strange's powers is a reference to the Las Vegas act of Siegfried & Roy, with their trademark white tigers.
